I am having trouble identifying these two odes from Ipperwash today. Does anyone know what they are? Thank-you for helping me out! (EDIT: Both have been identified...thanks to Blake and Chris)
Racket-tailed Emerald makes sense...I wish the Algonquin Dragonfly guide showed both sexes!
Damselflies can be quite a challenge! I would think that with a damselfly with such distinct markings would be easy to ID, but I can't find it anywhere.
That might be a female Racket-tailed Emerald.
ReplyDeleteI don't do damselflies!

Racket-tailed is a pretty good record for Lambton.
DeleteI have seen them up at MacGregor Point, but in July.
